The Alliance for digital terrestrial radio in France has announced that five companies have come on as partners: Mediamobile, Rohde & Schwarz, Itas-Tim, OneCast and RadioCoop.
These five companies join three stations in support of the Alliance: Radio Lina based in Marseille, Urban Hit in Ile-de-France, and Living FM in Paris, said the syndicat interprofessionnel des radios et télévisions indépendantes (SIRTI).
In addition, the Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel announced the plan to launch a public consultation by the end of May. The CSA will include 20 areas in the consultation “in order to implement the findings of its report on digital terrestrial radio, including the finalization of arrangements for the deployment of DAB.”
