France Ready for Digital Radio?

The head of the government authority that regulates broadcasting in France told attendees at a radio show in Paris, “Digital … is an inevitable and desirable evolution of radio.” According to the WorldDAB Forum, the people who market Eureka-147, Dominique Baudis said there’s no reason for French radio to remain analog.
The French version of the FCC has yet to pick a digital radio technology but will soon begin efforts to choose one, according to the WorldDAB Forum.
