Late news from Axia Audio: It will hold an educational Livewire University in the Los Angeles area on Friday, Feb. 27.
Designed to “educate and illuminate broadcast engineers who want to familiarize themselves with IP audio networks,” Livewire U gatherings are informal.
Friday’s free session will take place at the Media Center at the Burbank Holiday Inn, starting at 8:30 a.m. Topics will include IP audio networks, call screening, StudioHub+, sound cards and satellite distribution.
The session is in cooperation with local SBE chapter Chapter 47 and Broadcasters General Store. Cosponsors are BSI, 25/7 Systems, AudioScience, Broadcast Bionics, Radio Systems and International Datacasting.
