Gary Fries is pitching for Arbitron now.
The research company says it has retained the former RAB president and CEO. He’ll give the organization recommendations about the needs of station owners and operators in smaller markets.
As part of his duties, he’ll help set up a meeting of Arbitron and small-market customers at an Owner Operator Caucus to be held in Chicago on June 20. Additionally, he and Arbitron will host “town hall meetings” where small-market broadcasters will be encouraged to talk about their needs.
“The needs in these markets are different, and I look forward to working with broadcasters and Arbitron to improve the value proposition,” said Fries.
