After more than two decades, the NAB will have a new president soon.
Eddie Fritts has been reelected president and CEO, the association’s joint board announced Wednesday.
As previously reported by RW Online, Fritts has signed a contract extension and consultant deal that will extend until 2008.
Fritts said planning will begin next year for a successor, who will be in place by April 2006.
Fritts has led the association since 1982 and is considered to be among the most visible leaders of a lobbying organization on Capitol Hill. He is former president and owner of a radio station group in Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas.
