Frontier Smart Technologies is introducing support for Amazon Music to its Venice 6 smart radio solution.
The company says the addition of Amazon Music increases the choice of services available to end-users of products based on Frontier’s Venice 6 solution.
Several brands, which already use Venice 6, will be adding Amazon Music to their smart radio proposition. These include Dual, Hama, Ruark Audio, Sonoro and TechniSat. In addition, says the company, many brands will also be updating existing devices in the field through over-the-air updates.
Frontier says that to date its Venice 6 solution has been deployed in more than 200 products sold worldwide with over 4 million units have been sold to consumers. Through software updates, some of these devices can be upgraded to incorporate Amazon Music.

The Venice 6 solution comprises a set of hardware modules combined with Frontier’s embedded software, cloud solution and mobile app.
