Chorus DAB module reaches sales landmark

It’s not often one hears about the innards of electronic equipment, especially sales numbers, but chip developer and maker Frontier Silicon feels it has something to sing about concerning its Chorus 3.

The five-year-old DAB/DAB+ system-on-chip processor for digital radio reception and Internet stream decoding has racked up 10 million units sold.

Chorus 3 can be found in home audio systems, portable, automobile and hybrid radios throughout Europe.
