Furman Unveils Filtration Unit

Furman Sound announced the IT-20 II, a noise filtration transformer and surge suppressor.
The rack-mountable unit reveals low-level signals that “define harmonics, instrument timber, high-frequency extension, spatial cues, fast transient attacks, and other signals that provide resolution and depth to high-end audio and video,” said Dave Keller, Executive Vice President of Furman Sound.
The IT-20 provides a ground lift switch, allowing equipment plugged into the output of the unit to be isolated. The rack-mount IT-20 features a toroid transformer that contains the unit’s magnetic field, allowing it to operate in a close working environment with other components.
Additionally, it provides eight rear AC outlets and two front outlets.
