Futuri Cites Market Growth

Highlights uptake in its user base

Futuri Media is highlighting growth in its audio engagement platforms, which include Listener Driven Radio (LDR1), Takeover, TopicPulse and Futuri’s Mobile custom app services for radio and TV stations.

In an announcement, Daniel Anstandig, CEO of the Cleveland-based company, said LDR1 and Takeover — which let listeners vote and control radio programming or get alerts when certain songs are about to play — has grown from 104 to 311 stations, while TopicPulse, a dashboard to track trends in social media, “is up nearly 12-fold” to 130 stations and 3,500 users, and its mobile offering has grown to 165 custom apps, “doubling from 80 in the past 18 months.” Its broadcast apps are for iPhone, Apple Watch, Android and tablet.

Futuri, the former LDR Interactive, says its goal is to “proactively create social and mobile platforms that drive audience engagement and revenue growth.” It says it reaches more than 100 million consumers monthly. Radio clients include brands like KIIS in Los Angeles, WGN in Chicago and WTOP in Washington.
