Lyle Garrison has been appointed senior VP of business development for PTEK.
He will oversee global marketing, sales and new business development. The company cited his industry and military experience. He represented Broadcast Electronics in the Northwest and South Central regions, and before that worked for Harris Broadcast in Texas.
Last week, as first reported here, PTEK named Ernie Belanger vice president of sales and said it would open a New York office.
“Lyle also has twenty years of military service that was highlighted with the United States Air Force as squadron commander leading 91 technicians maintaining various aircraft systems and teaching graduate-level courses to U.S. and international military officers,” PTEK noted.
The company quoted Garrison saying he’d been a fan of PTEK since seeing one of its transmitters “purring away in New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.”
