Gary T. Palamara died last month at age 56, according to his family.
Palamara, who contributed as a freelance writer to Radio World, lived in Howell, N.J.; he died suddenly of a heart attack on July 4.
An Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War, he served in Thailand. While living in Dayton, Ohio, he worked as a cameraman for WHIO(TV).
Later he owned and operated Morningstar Sound for 30 years, and contributed to several publications; he also posted his work on a Web site, www.garypalamara.com.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, a daughter and son-in-law, Gretchen and Scott Cook, a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Lori Palamara, and a son, Zachary Palamara.
