John George has been named VP of domestic sales at LBA Technology Inc.
He will be responsible for sales in the United States. LBA, part of the LBA Group, supplies medium-wave broadcast antenna systems and RF components. President Jerry Brown made the announcement.
John George has worked on the air and in programming, sales, engineering and station ownership. He was most recently a regional sales manager for Dielectric Communications in the Southeast and is a former district sales manager for Harris.
He is co-chairman of the South Carolina Broadcasters Association Engineering Committee and chairman of the S.C. Emergency Communications Committee. He helped develop the SCBA’s Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program and is a technical consultant for the S. C. AMBER Alert Program, associate member of AFCCE and member of IEEE and SBE.
