Among those taking their wares to Singapore in June for BroadcastAsia 2008 was Italian firm Giomar.
Based in Tortona, Italy, Giomar develops, produces, installs and maintains a range of broadcast-sector solutions under the Geritel brand name, including analog and digital solid-state, low-consumption UHF transmitters and repeaters rated at powers of 2 W to 1 kW; microwave radio links in frequency ranges of 7–8.5 GHz, 10.6–12.5 GHz and 14–15 GHz; and radio communications networks between fixed and mobile devices for the 75 MHz, 160 MHz and 450 MHz frequency bands.
The Giomar antenna and accessory range includes parabolic reflectors, 1–26 GHz feeders, UHF panel arrays, double panel and log-periodic antennas, specific antennas for the 2.4–2.7 GHz band, Wi-Fi antennas, radomes, filters, couplers, power dividers, diplexers and multiplexers for FM bands, and waveguide components.
