The Dayton Hamvention just passed for the year but there’s still more activities for the nomadic ham and those hams in the Pacific Northwest. Sea-Pac is just around the corner.
Taking place at the Seaside Convention Center and other locations in Seaside, Ore., Sea-Pac is scheduled for June 6–8.
The show has an impressive schedule of seminars, including a look back at ham activity in support of emergency efforts at the recent landslide in Oso, Wash. In addition, scheduled are a luncheon and a banquet. Kay Craigie, K3KN, ARRL president, will be speaking at the June 7 banquet..
There will also be a fundraising spaghetti dinner, June 6, for several area amateur radio clubs and activities.
And of course, no ham convention is complete without equipment exhibitors and a flea market.
