Goldeneagle HD Firmware V1.3 Integrates Digital Demod

Goldeneagle HD Firmware V1.3 Integrates Digital Demod

Audemat-Aztec has put out a new firmware upgrade for owners of its Goldeneagle HD product.
The supplier says software upgrades for Goldeneagle HD customers are free through the end of this year; two more are planned during that time.
This upgrade incorporates features including audio silence sensing on HD audio channels, enhanced e-mail (plain text or HTML) and the capability to export readings.
For units equipped with spectrum analyzer, the firmware adds a new GUI with bargraph digital modulation monitor accessible via the touch screen or the PC application. “This allows broadcasters to get accurate, fast readings of modulation levels on the analog and HD audio channels,” the company stated. “This capability is made possible by exploiting the digital demodulator that is part of the spectrum analyzer.”
To obtain the firmware, contact Technical Support Manager Tony Peterle at (305) 249-3110 ext 202 or e-mail [email protected].
Users who want to add the spectrum analyzer and digital demodulator to their unit can do so by returning it to Audemat-Aztec’s shop in Miami. Price of the upgrade is $2,995.
