Gow Broadcasting, operator of Yahoo! Sports Radio, has announced a pair of Bob Costas programs to be available.
“Costas Coast-to-Coast” will be a weekly hour-long interview show and “Stars and Stories” will be a daily, one-minute show drawn from past Costas programs that were done for Olympia Networks. The shows begin Jan. 28, 2013.
NBC Sports Radio has made some announcements of programming and personnel. The co-op project with Dial Global has developed a full-time weekend lineup that starts Jan. 5, 2013.
Called NBC Sports Radio Weekends, new shows and their hosts are Clay Travis, Anita Marks, Brian Webber, Newy Scruggs, Jason Page, Rob Buska, Jim Daniels, Rob Simmelkjaer and Jon Stashower. Most of the shows, varying in length, depending on the host, are eponymous but “Speaking of Sports with Rob Simmelkjaer” and “Sunday Mornings with Jon Stashower” are different.
These programs join the previously “Safety Blitz with Rodney Harrison.”
The NBC Sports Radio Network has some spots still open in its weekday lineup. According to a release those will be filled in April to coincide with Dial Global’s coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four.
