It’s hard not to get excited about all the new types of media that are currently out there and where they might take us. But as things stand now radio and TV are by far the most prolific forms of media when it comes to total audience, according to a recent report from Nielsen.
Measuring the total audiences across devices and burgeoning viewing platforms, radio is second among all forms of media in total audience at 259 million/month; TV is first at 282 million/month. The next closest outlet is the Internet at 182 million/month.
