Great River Wins Order From MPR

Minnesota Public Radio is using microphone pre-amps from Great River Electronics to replicate audio characteristics of its former Neve 1073 consoles. The supplier said MPR is using new Great River MP-2NV pre-amps. Scott Liebers is audio engineer of the broadcaster in St. Paul, Minn.
Four of the five MP-2NVs are used in the studio with various mics including models from Shure, Neumann, Schoeps and B&K. Another unit, plus a Great River MP-4 mic pre-amp, is used for live remote production. Info: www.greatriverelectronics.com.
