Greater Media has promoted Vice President of Corporate Communication Heidi Raphael. She will now serve the company as senior vice president of corporate communication. She had been in her previous role since February 2008.
The western New York native began her radio career at WGRF(FM) and WHTT(FM) in Buffalo, N.Y.
Raphael is the past spokesperson and executive committee member of the Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio Group, as well as a past NAB Radio Board member and the current president of the Buffalo Broadcasters Association and a member of the Broadcast Education Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
“It is a privilege to be able to promote Heidi to the position of senior vice president at Greater Media,” said Greater Media Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Peter Smyth. “She has done an outstanding job of overseeing our corporate communication efforts. We are very fortunate to have her on our team.”
Greater Media Inc. is the parent company of 21 AM and FM radio stations in the Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, New Jersey and Philadelphia markets. The company also owns a group of weekly newspapers in central New Jersey and several telecommunications towers located throughout the United States.
