Soft codec and audio processing software developer ATC Labs, based in India and New Jersey, announced the appointment of Harkesh Gupta as chief technical advisor.
Gupta most recently was chairman and managing director of Broadcast Engineering Consultants India, an Indian government broadcast consultancy. Before that he filled senior and engineering positions at All India Radio and public-service broadcaster Doordarshan.
A release said he had almost four decades of broadcast experience in India, including setting up FM stations and networks, developing TV networks and monitoring facilities (including HDTV) and building out broadcasting facilities for the Indian Parliament and the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
