The new president/CEO of the Radio Advertising Bureau delivered his first state of the industry speech.

Jeff Haley spoke of defining radio as “sponsored audio content” and cited what he described as misperceptions as the only obstacle to its growth.

Haley called for the industry to adopt a plan to engage national advertisers and said RAB will launch an effort “that establishes transformational relationships through client-centric interaction.”
