Harman Chooses McLane and Shawhan

McLane to serve Western U.S.; Shawhan Eastern U.S.

Denny McLane

Audio equipment maker Harman Professional has appointed Denny McLane and Saben Shawhan to the newly created roles of business development leaders. McLane will represent the Western U.S., while Shawhan will represent the Eastern U.S. The two will provide design support on projects and consultant communications. McLane and Shawhan will report to Gregory Jones and Olivier Roure.

Prior to his new role, McLane was a senior consultant with Jaffe Holden Acoustics. He previously worked at Harman’s BSS Audio brand from 2002–2009 as a regional sales manager. McLane also helped develop Soundweb London and found and operated a Los Angeles-based sound contracting and concert production company.

Saben Shawhan

Shawhan has more than 20 years of experience as a consultant and contractor. Most recently he was the senior audio visual systems consultant for Marshall/KMK Acoustics. Other previous positions include managing the AV design department for Metropolitan Acoustics, director of engineering at Washington Professional Systems and senior engineering and project management positions with Maryland Sound and Walt Disney’s World on Ice.
