David McKinney
Harman Professional has tapped David McKinney as vice president and general manager of Harman’s mixer business unit, where he will lead the global operations of the Soundcraft and Studer mixer/console brands.
McKinney has held the position of senior director and GM of China Operations for Harman Professional since July 2013, prior to which he held the position of senior director, India Operations for Harman Professional. He will be replaced by Frank Xiao.
Based in Potters Bar, England, McKinney will report to Harman Professional Pres. Blake Augsburger. McKinney has worked for Harman Professional for 11 years in four different country offices.
Xiao has 16 years’ experience in high-end projection and display systems and cinema solutions. He joins Harman Professional from Christie Digital Systems, where he spent 13 years, serving as GM of Christie China since March 2007. In this position, Xiao was responsible for sales, marketing, service, HR, finance and operations.
