Harman Professional Appoints Bradley

New VP, GM of Loudspeaker Business Unit will lead JBL Professional division’s operations

Electronic equipment manufacturer Harman Professional named Bryan Bradley as vice president/general manager of JBL Professional’s loudspeaker business unit. As a senior executive with experience in professional audio and MI, Bradley will operate from the company’s Northridge, Calif., headquarters and will report directly to Harman Professional President Blake Augsburger.

“Bryan’s experience in the retail market will also provide Harman Professional with valuable perspective in development of programs and marketing, and I look forward to working with him to improve our approach and advance our business,” Augsburger said.

Bradley served as COO of Alfred Music since February 2009, where, according to the announcement, he helped optimize artist relations, business affairs, business development, marketing and sales. He has also led third-party initiatives with Pearson Publishing, Kindle and Apple iPad.

Prior to joining Alfred, Bradley worked for music retailer Guitar Center, Inc. for eight years, during which he held positions, including overseeing pro audio/recording merchandise and marketing. He also served on Guitar Center’s Strategic Planning Group, working on initiatives for Guitar Center and its subsidiaries, Musician’s Friend and Music and Arts.
