Harris Corp. completed its first Channel Partner Training in Mason, Ohio, and plans to hold such training each year.
The three-day meeting provided training on Harris analog AM/FM and HD Radio transmission, studio systems and Intraplex STL products for the company’s North American radio broadcast market.
Channel partners are equipment dealers, distributors and systems integrators. Harris says they support its efforts to offer new value-added services, including planning and design assistance, disaster recovery, regionalized field resources, quicker response times and specialized integration teams.
Representatives from 12 companies attended for education on Harris product lines and were introduced to new studio design services and the Harris InfoCaster media player for digital signage applications.
Representatives from Ibiquity Digital and Harris Finance also made presentations.
