Harris Introduces 10- to 600-Watt HD Radio Transmitters

Harris Corp. will introduce Mini-HD FM, a line of 10- to 600-watt HD Radio transmitters, at April's NAB show. The company said that, with this addition, it now can support multiplexer input, interleaved antenna and separate antenna applications.
The line is available with the Harris NeuStar option, which can be configured to enable supplemental audio channels and 5.1 surround sound applications.
The company also plans to show a lower-cost package version of its ReCon Radio facilities management system.


Harris to Introduce HT/HD+

Harris is debuting its HT/HD+ high-power common-amplification single-tube FM HD Radio transmitter, which the company says evolved from the technology of its HT Series of FM transmitters and marks Harris' foray into the HD Radio market with tube-type transmitters.
