Harris Names Director of Operations in Quincy

Harris Corp.’s Broadcast Communications Division named Chuck Miklich director of operations and site executive for its operation in Quincy, Ill.
Earlier this month the company confirmed that it will move transmitter production from Huntingdon, England, and that its transmitter manufacturing will be consolidated by the end of this year in its main plant in Quincy. The plant makes analog and digital radio and TV transmitters.
Miklich is a manufacturing and engineering management executive. He was VP manufacturing for the STAHL Division of Scott Fetzer, a manufacturer of commercial truck equipment , and worked for16 years at Modine Manufacturing.
