Harris Corp. plans to pay a quarterly dividend of 8 cents per share on its common stock on June 13, reflecting a slight net gain for its third quarter.
Earlier the company reported that quarterly revenue increased to $538.9 million from $483.3 million in the same period last year, an improvement of 12 percent. Harris attributed the gain to stronger performances by its Government Communications Systems the RF Communications businesses. However, the Broadcast Communications segment reported lower revenue, $75.9 million in its third quarter compared to $93.3 million last year.
