Harris Corp. recently named HD Radio expert Tim Anderson as FM/digital product line manager for the transmission business at Harris Broadcast Communications.
Anderson has more than 30 years of experience in broadcasting, and substantial experience with HD Radio to Harris. He has worked as an HD Radio specialist for stations and has assisted in the development of HD Radio transmission and receiver products for manufacturers. Anderson served as a broadcast engineer for iBiquity Digital, developer of the HD Radio standard.
“As a broadcast systems engineer well versed in HD Radio, DAB and DRM technologies, I will provide technical support to our customers in the United States and abroad; promote Harris products at trade shows and seminars; and deliver technical papers to industry groups,” Anderson said.
