Harris Broadcast Communications Division said it won the contract to provide a turnkey radio studio systems package to Jefferson-Pilot Denver.
The owner is relocating its five stations to an office building, allowing it to bring KCKK(AM) under the same roof as KYGO(FM), KQKS(FM), KJCD(FM) and KKFN(AM). It allows room for growth in the sales department and space for future stations. There will also be a live performance studio. The facility is expected to open in June.
The equipment package includes a Harris PR&E VistaMax networked audio management system with 18 Harris PR&E digital consoles and Harris PR&E SmoothLine cabinetry, as well as studio wiring and facility infrastructure and operations center wiring, and facility engineering, design and integration
services.
Tom Giglio is VP of engineering for Jefferson-Pilot Communications Co. Brad Hart is DOE for the cluster.
