Steve Harvey, the master of multimedia, is once again hosting the Ford Neighborhood Awards. These awards are made to community leaders, businesses, education and churches, and will be handed out in August. But before that, the 48 finalists have to be winnowed through and that process begins Monday, on “The Steve Harvey Morning Show.” Voting will take place until June 17, online at Steve Harvey’s website.
This year, a Church Choir Competition has been added. The culmination of all the activity, and the awards presentation, will be Aug. 7–10, at the 2014 Neighborhood Awards Weekend, at the Georgia World Congress Center/Phillips Arena, in Atlanta.
