Acoustical Engineer Gavin Haverstick was recently promoted to the newly created position of lead acoustical engineer at Auralex Acoustics Inc.
In his new position, Haverstick is overseeing the research, development and testing for current and future products. His main focus lies in new product design, working in conjunction with acoustical consultants, as well as continuing to supervise large-scale projects.
He is also responsible for writing technical white papers and giving presentations on Auralex’s products and acoustical theory.
“My goal now is to be a technical resource for Auralex employees, dealers as well as architects, interior designers and acoustical consultants,” says Haverstick. “After nearly eight years at Auralex, I have seen the company grow into what it is today. I look forward to many more years to come.”
Throughout his tenure at Auralex Acoustics, Haverstick has completed testing and/or acoustical analysis of over 3,000 challenging spaces including gymnasiums, houses of worship, recording studios, cafeterias, conference rooms, home theaters and industrial facilities.
