Toyota will make HD Radio technology standard in its 2013 model year Yaris subcompact lineup.
The news means more than 70 vehicle models now offer HD Radio receivers as standard OEM equipment, according to iBiquity Digital.
HD is part of what Toyota calls “Tech Audio” which also includes analog AM/FM, a CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability, an aux jack and a USB port with iPod connectivity.
Tech Audio is also SiriusXM-compatible with a separate receiver and subscription.
