HD Radio will be pitched at attendees to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this weekend, with mobile billboards and an “HD Radio Street Team.”
The promotion started last week; members will cover the convention center parking lot again this weekend. The orange uniformed group handed out 21,000 HD Radio VIP lanyards at the people mover stations close to the convention center. The lanyards invited people to register for a free HD Radio car converter.
The HD Digital Radio Alliance believes mobile messages like “Drive, Listen, Love” and “More free radio in your car” have started resonating with consumers and with the automotive industry. Diane Warren and Texas Creative created the promotion.
