Integration and engineering firm Utter Associates has changed its name to ZTransform.

“Over the past 19 years, we have seen significant growth as a company, in team size, our customer base and the breadth of services provided,” President Erik Utter said in announcing the news.

“Please know that nothing has changed regarding company structure and ownership. This evolution deepens our commitment to providing the exceptional customer experience you have always known.”

The company is based in Seattle and has a number of clients in the Northwest. Its radio work has included projects for FM stations KING and KEXP in Seattle and for Oregon State University. A current project for KNKX in Tacoma, Wash., is described in the latest Radio World ebook on new studios.

The company, founded by Utter in 2004, serves the broadcast, corporate new media, education and government sectors. Services include facility planning, architecture and construction interfacing, systems engineering, integration and operational readiness.

“The company expanded into the corporate new media space and added a broad managed services catalog, including technical and operations training, technical support, staff augmentation and much more,” it said. “ZTransform continues to offer value added equipment sales nationwide.”

Erik Utter and Managing Partner Ben Wolk made the announcement.
