Did you get your hearing tested during AES in New York last week?
About 700 people did, according to RW sister publication Pro Sound News, and organizers say this was a record, up from about 500 last year. The House Ear Institute booth provided free screenings through its Sound Partners hearing conservation education program. The screenings were sponsored by Shure Inc.
“Demand for information on noise-induced hearing loss was so much greater than previous years that Institute staff had distributed all educational materials by the end of the New York show,” officials stated.
