Helping a Historical Radio Cause

CHRS worries about future of its home

The California Historical Radio Society/Bay Area Radio Museum is in a pickle.

The museum is based in the compact and very cool Art Deco KRE building in Berkeley, Calif. Unfortunately, the owner of the building is bankrupt and being liquidated. The society worries that new owners might very well repurpose the building or put a new broadcast tenant in. The building isn’t big enough for two tenants.

So CHRS wants to buy the building. And it is seeking any and all help to make that a reality.
