In its latest audio platform agreement, iHeartMedia has struck a deal with manufacturer Denon Electronics to offer iHeartRadio on its HEOS wireless home sound system.
“Now HEOS users have the capability to utilize iHeartRadio’s free streaming music and live radio service through the HEOS app, available for both iOS and Android,” they announced. A wireless home network is required.
“This gives HEOS listeners access to thousands of live AM/FM radio stations from across the country and the ability to create their own custom stations.”
In the announcement, Darren Davis, president of iHeartRadio, complimented the HEOS music player for “its sleek and compact design combined with its premier stereo sound.” The HEOS lineup offers three wireless speakers ranging in price from $299 to $599, intended for rooms of various sizes.
