A-Ware Software, developer of MusicMaster music scheduling software, is conducting a series of free training webinars aimed at program directors and music directors who find themselves out of work.
Starting Jan. 28 and scheduled for succeeding Wednesdays, the webinars will focus on training for A-Ware’s MusicMaster software.
VP and COO Mark Bolke said: “Given the massive layoffs sweeping our industry in recent weeks, we have been contacted by many end users who are applying for or are in consideration for a position at one of our client stations … Hopefully these webinars will provide these individuals with the necessary understanding to secure a new position quickly.”
For a station considering avoiding prospective employees because of a lack of MusicMaster skills, Bolke said: “To our existing clients looking to hire someone, please don’t let a lack of direct MusicMaster experience prevent you from hiring the best programming people you can find. We can assure you we will do everything possible to bring any new employees needing training assistance up to speed quickly.” The free Webinars are expected to be three hours in length but participants may join at any time and leave at any time.
