HHB recently shipped its 10,000th FlashMic.
Launched at IBC2005, the FlashMic is popular in the radio arena, HHB said, because of its drag and drop file transfer and integration into playout systems, and because it combines the recording and mic functions needed for field news work.
The 10,000th FlashMic went to German public-service broadcaster NDR, which has used FlashMics since the product’s launch. NDR increased its inventory of FlashMics in 2008 for coverage of the Beijing Olympic Games.
