Hilliard Departs Jones Radio

Edie Hilliard is leaving Jones Radio Networks. She was vice president and COO, and had been president and general manager of Broadcast Programming prior to Jones’ acquisition of BP in 1999. In that capacity, she helped build BP’s affiliate list from 70 to more than 1,000.
“I’m going to take some time off to play and to pursue a couple exciting projects I can’t fit into a 50-60 hour work week,” the company quoted her as saying. “I love the radio business, and I’m not through with it.”
