JAM Creative Productions Inc. has noted its 40th anniversary; it is still operating under its original name, ownership and creative direction.
Founded by Jonathan and Mary Lyn Wolfert, the Dallas-based company specializes in ID jingles for radio stations, but also has created themes for dozens of syndicated shows.
“I’ve been interested in radio, music and production since I was a kid, and got hooked on radio jingles early on because they combine all of those,” said Jon Wolfert in an announcement about the anniversary.
He got his start in the business with PAMS Productions, which he purchased in 1990. Some PAMS packages are still played in 2014. The company says most key production and sales personnel have also been with JAM since the 1970s or ’80s. That includes Randy Bell, Mark Holland, Brian Hamilton and Cary Bass.
“We’re constantly adapting to keep things fresh, but we don’t lose sight of what works when it comes to creating a station’s image,” said Wolfert.
