Howell Hatton has died.
He was general manager of Belar Electronics Lab, the Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of mod monitors and related broadcast gear. Company owner Arno Meyer tells Radio World Hatton passed away mowing a lawn late last week.
Hatton worked for Belar for many years; Meyer did not immediately know how many but said Hatton’s tenure was measured in decades, after he came to the company’s attention through a sister who worked there.
Meyer described him as “my right-hand man.” The company was preparing a detailed obituary. A short item was published here.
