Huckabee to Speak at NRB 2010

Radio host and former presidential candidate will address media dinner

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee will speak at the National Religious Broadcasters media leadership dinner on Feb. 28 during the NRB convention.

Huckabee came in second behind John McCain in the race for the Republican nomination for president in 2008.

The invitation-only gathering assembles principals of NRB member organizations, along with invited guests.

NRB President/CEO Dr. Frank Wright characterized Huckabee as “an outspoken Christian who takes a bold stand for his values and Christian beliefs, both in the media and in the political world.”

Huckabee was the 44th governor of Arkansas, from 1996–2007. He hosts the weekend show “Huckabee” on the Fox News Channel, and his “Huckabee Report” airs three times daily on Citadel radio stations.

The former governor is the author of six books, the most recent being “Do the Right Thing.” A significant part of his early adult life was spent as a pastor and denominational leader.

NRB 2010 is being held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn., Feb. 27–March 2.
