He assumes the role held by current CEO Roger Crumpton on Oct. 1.
Bolin had previously served as chief executive officer of Fighting Bull Broadcasting Technologies in Belfast, Ireland.
IABM is a trade association of manufacturers of TV and radio equipment, mostly in Europe and North America.
