SomerData is demonstrating enhancements to its DABSTOR product range at IBC2007, including new DAB/DMB remote service monitoring capabilities.

The DABSTOR Publisher option allows remotely located control centers to render all audio, video and data services automatically, via a network connection, with the new Subscriber application. The Subscriber application also supports services from external sources.

The DABSTOR product range is used to monitor DAB/DMB ensemble data integrity and content, as well as for logging of multiplexer output. Other uses include testing, development and troubleshooting of hardware and services.

DABSTOR handles real-time input streams, as well as prerecorded ETI data files. The latest release supports T-DMB and DAB-IP video services, international character sets, electronic program guide (EPG), external alarms and SNMP reporting.
