JK Audio is highlighting at IBC2008 its a new wireless interview tool, BluePack, as well as the RemoteMix4 field mixer.
Designed for field reporters conducting live interviews via Bluetooth-equipped mobile-phones, the lightweight BluePack combines a professional microphone preamplifier and powerful headphone amplifier; it also has a durable, beltpack design and features two-way IFB connections.
A 3.5-millimeter stereo line input jack allows the mixing of recordings into the broadcast. The stereo line output jack provides a full-bandwidth mic signal on the left channel and Bluetooth audio on the right channel. The stereo headphone output gives a mix of the XLR mic input, 3.5-millimeter input and Bluetooth audio.
The RemoteMix4 is a four-channel mixer and headphone amp that also features a phone line hybrid and keypad, a PBX handset interface and a cellphone interface.
Particularly suitable for sports event coverage, the RemoteMix 4 can serve as a front-end mixer for POTS, ISDN or IP codecs. It will also route audio through cellphones or notebooks using Bluetooth wireless technology.
