Ibiquity Beefs Up Chip, Receiver Teams

Ibiquity Digital has added two people to its commercialization team to assist in the expanded rollout of AM/FM digital radio.
Peter Brady, former director of sales for Sony Electronics Inc., joins as director of aftermarket business development, and Bob Dillon, former chief executive officer of Enikia, assumes the role of director of IC strategic marketing.
Brady will work with receiver manufacturers to bring more HD Radio products to market and with retailers to increase the outlets for those products. At Sony Brady worked with retailers to launch consumer electronics products.
Dillon will be in charge of developing and strengthening Ibiquity’s ties with semiconductor suppliers to help increase the availability of HD Radio chip sets.
