Ibiquity Digital has upgraded its receiver reference design for home and tabletop HD Radios – a base that manufacturers can use for their products to speed time to market and lower costs, says the IBOC developer.
Version 2.0 is optimized for heightened AM/FM sensitivity and reduced bill-of-material costs for consumer electronics manufacturers looking to integrate HD Radio technology into current and future AM and FM radio product lines, said the supplier.
The module is now Ibiquity-certified and available to all HD Radio licensees.
