USA Digital Radio and Lucent Digital Radio have closed their merger, garnering approval from the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. Co-Chairman Suren Pai said, “I am more confident than ever that iBiquity Digital will be able to accelerate the standard-setting process and rapidly deliver the benefits of digital broadcast technologies to the vast majority of Americans that use AM & FM radio.”
